Full Throttle Formation Team

The Full Throttle Formation Team is an aerobatic team based in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Atlanta Regional Airport—Falcon Field in Peachtree City. Its pilots are professionals from both the civil and military aviation sectors who have logged more than 300,000 flight hours. The team is known for using experimental Van's Aircraft RV-series aircraft, many of which were assembled by the team members themselves.

Beyond its flight demonstrations—which combine precision, noise, and smoke trails—the team is dedicated to educating and inspiring future generations of aviators. Its members, many of whom are flight instructors certified by the Federal Aviation Administration, are actively involved in local community and science programs. In particular, they participate in the EAA Young Eagles flight introduction program and offer classroom presentations as well as educational workshops focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Safety and professionalism form the operational foundation of the training, with every training or demonstration flight systematically subject to thorough briefings. Through its dynamic demonstrations and static displays, the team seeks to share its passion for aviation and encourage the public to pursue careers in aviation.
