Initially, the Patrouille de France was the French army's sole ambassador at these airshows, but the program has continued to evolve and expand, introducing a number of new ambassadors each year. As a result, the Saint-Jean-de-Luz airshow has gradually added new ambassadors, with the air force, land forces and navy all represented.
