The Forgotten Coast Freedom Festival Air Show is set to rev its engines on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Apalachicola Regional Airport in Florida. This family-friendly event, organized to benefit the Friends of Apalachicola Regional Airport, promises a memorable day filled with aerial displays and community gatherings. Gates will open at 10:00 a.m., offering visitors of all ages a full immersion in the world of aviation and festive entertainment.
The flight program, with the main show scheduled to begin at 12:50 p.m., promises to be particularly exciting. The public will be able to enjoy a flag parachute jump by the RE/MAX team, a potential flyover by two F-35 fighter jets, as well as several solo aerobatic demonstrations. The show will also feature a comedy airplane, an RC jet demonstration, the Titan Aerobatic Team, and an impressive race pitting three airplanes against three cars. Demonstrations and introductory flights in a Huey helicopter will round out this aerial spectacle alongside military flyovers and drone shows.
On the ground, the festivities will be in full swing with a static display of civilian and military aircraft, a car and motorcycle show, exotic vehicles offering high-speed track rides, and a dedicated children’s area. Music lovers will enjoy live concerts throughout the day, while more than 30 food, craft, and military recruitment booths will welcome the public.
